This website is dedicated to all Allied Paratroopers of World War Two. They became a 'Band of Brothers' who enlisted for a new type of warfare. They jumped into occupied Holland on September 17th 1944 like Angels from the Sky. We will honor their heritage.

Touring with a Band of Brothers
Ted Moon's Journal

Ted Moon was one of the American participants of the Band of Brothers Tour, edition May 2003. Hij walked in the footsteps of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiments Easy Company Soldiers. Tracing back their steps from the beginning (Toccoa) to the ultimate preparation (England), the first combatjump (Normandy), the second combatjump (Market Garden - Holland), the Ardennes, Germany and all the way up the 'Eagles Nest'. Ted kept a journal of his adventurous journey that relates to the tour, the interaction with the veterans and the former battlegrounds of Easy Company in Europe. It reads like a novel, with a catching humor and down to earth lightness. Enjoy reading his journal, we sure did!
